Research and development
Nowhere is our commitment to innovation better reflected than in our uncompromising approach to research and development.
Striving for better ways
In the late 1980's and early 1990's, the only readily available application equipment was the type being used in commercial agricultural and horticultural crop spraying.
This same cumbersome equipment was being adapted for use on golf courses, sports fields, roadsides, public parks and gardens where it was proving to be less than ideal. As a result of this, we began to modify and develop our own purpose designed equipment in-house.
Creating smarter solutions
Since that time, we have reinvested a significant proportion of our annual profits into setting up and operating our own government recognised research and development facility.
This initiative has resulted in a number of Smarter Solutions, several of which have gone on to become industry best practice standards. The end result? Better value outcomes for all of our customers.

Pushing the boundaries
We will continue to push the boundaries and reinvest a significant proportion of our annual profits in this area of our business.
It is our belief that by pressing ahead with:
- the development of new and better work techniques,
- new types of equipment, and
- better product selections,
we can achieve our ultimate aim of becoming the benchmark for the entire vegetation management industry in Australia by introducing safer, greener and more cost effective methods of carrying out vegetation management.
