Our clients have access to first-rate science based Research and Development services. Proven research methodologies and protocols ensure that all of our Integrated Vegetation Management solutions achieve the best possible outcomes that will lower costs, lower risks, and guarantee results.

Technigro are currently involved in a number of research and development projects around Australia and with international partners. Research project partners include Federal, State and Local Government entities, product manufacturers, industry groups, vegetation management service providers, turf producers and a variety of professional vegetation managers.

Research trials

To provide our clients with the best Integrated Vegetation Management (IVM) technologies Technigro has developed the capabilities to undertake scientifically based research trials on new and emerging industry technologies.
Some of our current trials include selected plant growth regulators, herbicides, fungicides and nutrition.  Combining these technologies with mowing and other activities our trials aim to establish the best practice IVM activities that will best suit the species composition present in each situation. Our objectives for these trials normally include:

  • environmentally, socially and economically sustainable methods for managing vegetation in public open spaces
  • cost-effective IVM strategies for areas populated by undesirable plant species
  • IVM strategies that reduce inputs, reduce erosion and reduce the spread of undesirable plant species
